Edvizion was founded in 2023 by Michael Vizdos (Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, Certified Scrum Trainer®) and Kenton Vizdos (Co-Founder & Chief Architect, who leads Edvizion's architecture and engineering) on a simple premise: education shouldn't have to wait years for digital tools that actually work.
By pairing Michael's 35+ years in software delivery with Kenton's software architecture, proven in production in schools, we help educational leaders turn complex operational challenges into working technology — and, more often, into a team that can keep improving it after we leave.
Our story: Bridging practice & platform
For over a decade, we worked inside charter school districts and educational organizations, seeing firsthand where administrative overhead, disconnected systems, and slow software rollouts pulled focus away from student success.
We founded Edvizion™ to solve that problem directly. We did that by building the software ourselves, inside the district, alongside the people who had to use it. That is how we learned the thing we now get hired for: whether a tool gets adopted has less to do with the software than with how the decision to use it got made. Edvizion is not taking on contracted software development for schools today — what we do now is consulting, mentoring and training. The one exception is a product, not a build: Attendance Logs is open to a limited pilot with a small number of Arizona online schools. For EdTech companies we also build alongside your team. We don't build for districts directly. We build with the companies that serve them.

Michael Vizdos
Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST) & Strategic Advisor
Michael has 35+ years in software delivery: first as a developer, then director and above, at large enterprises and startups. He has been a Certified Scrum Trainer since 2006 and a long-time Strategic Advisor for Blueprint Education, an Arizona charter district, where he specializes in helping educational leadership teams streamline operations and foster collaborative cultures.
Co-author of The Enterprise Unified Process (2005), author of Implementing Scrum (published weekly since 2006) and creator of the Scrum Chicken and Pig cartoon series.
Kenton Vizdos
Certified Scrum Developer® (CSD) & MCTA 2026 Keynote Speaker
Kenton leads the architecture and engineering of the systems Edvizion has put into schools: enrollment, attendance, records requests, reporting, integrations and ecommerce, in Go and TypeScript on AWS. His redesign of attendance reporting for an online school raised documented instructional time by about seven hours per student per week. With Michael, he co-leads Academic Threat Intelligence and presented its findings as the MCTA 2026 keynote and at USDLA 2026.
Writes about EdTech integration and engineering at kv.codes, including The Standardless Standards of EdTech. Co-organizer of ScrumRVA since 2017.

- We have been inside a district, not adjacent to one. Michael has advised the district since 2014, sitting with the leadership team that has to live with the decisions — eleven engagements are written up here, with dates. Kenton leads the engineering behind the systems its staff use every day.
- The credentials are checkable, not asserted. Michael is a Certified Scrum Trainer® with the Scrum Alliance, co-created its Certified Agile Leader: K-12 certification, and has published Implementing Scrum weekly since 2006. Kenton holds the Scrum Alliance’s Certified Scrum Developer®, Certified Scrum Product Owner® and Certified ScrumMaster® credentials, and his talks are listed at kv.codes/speaking.
